Ha ha, I read Lavapies on the third and last picures and which sparked childhood memories from Madrid, it translates as footwash which I’ve never forgotten.
Spanish Wikipedia suggests it might have been the location of a public fountain used for washing before prayers.

I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve
tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome.
