Seriously, interesting comments about how Bangladeshi students perceive the British Bangladeshi experience. How is the old country perceived by the British Bangladeshi diaspora?

Davido: the FCO moves in mysterious ways. I was phoned up at work quite near the date and asked.
Rumbold: I have written them another one but it’s not up yet – maybe ‘cos of all these bank holidays. Anyway am safely back now.
AVPS: I must say everytime we spoke from a platform it was pointed out (a) we were doing so as individuals and (b) we weren’t being remunerated for it. This was worst for the self employed who were totting up loss of earnings. It wasn’t just a jolly though -they did make us sing for our supper, honest.
On the “Do They Mean Us?” point. Am doing a longer post soon hopefuly…
