Just saw this at my fellow 2010 Walpole ward Labour candidate Paul Conlan’s Facebook page so I thought I’d nick it.
Paul explains of this unassuming inter-war brick-built dwelling:
The North Korean flag flying over their embassy in London on the day of Kim Jong-il’s funeral. Apart from the flag it looks just like any other suburban house near Ealing Common; which is what it is. The diplomatic budget obviously didn’t stretch to a place in Kensington.
More here from the Independent’s Simon Calder – victorious on yesterday’s celebrity mastremind who calls it “The Axis of Ealing”. I can hear the net curtains twitching as we speak…

The diplomatic budget may not stretch that far but it’s palatial compared with the miserable existence of most people in North Korea. I hope the apologist diplomats for that despotic regime choke on their diplomatic canapes.
