Sky’s The Limit

Recess Monkey draws attention to this uber-boob from the Sky website. The Murdoch organ has confused Georgia (now autonomous one-time Russian rebel state where there’s a war on) with Georgia in the US of A (where the B52s and REM hailed from). Their excuse? “Sky accepts no resopnsibility…. this information is from Wikipedia.”

We always frown upon students using wiki and it’s banned in some universities but this is sloppiness of the first order. Eagled-eyed prize goes to RM aka PPC Alex Hilton whose stories are regularly nicked by others including the Tribune diary column. His expose of David Davis‘ lack of faces erm… of colour… in the background of his re-election website chaged the course of history (well led to the site being amended anyway).
