The result is well-known now: the Cameron-lookalike won with less votes than the runner-up lost by last year. Vince Cable now has more time for ballroom dancing. The good news is that this makes Cameron’s plea to LibDems to join him look pretty pointless and Clegg threatens to dent the revived Tories – all good for Labour.
The second Pink Floyd album when Syd was still a (semi-detached) member includes a song on the new victor. It’s a fittingly droney psych-out entitled Corporal Clegg. Lyrics are here.

I actually prefer that tune to Arnold Layne…has a nice bittersweet element to it.
